How to Create an Account at the Guildford Library of Things


Creating an account at the Guildford Library of Things is free and easy. Once you create an account, you can start reserving items straight away!

1. Visit the Website
Head over to guildfordlibraryofthings.org on your browser.
2. Create an Account
Click the “Create Account” button on the homepage.

3. Fill in the Form
Pop your details into the registration form. Be sure to read and agree to our equipment hire agreement—it’s important stuff!

4. Confirm Your Email
Keep an eye on your inbox for an email from us. Click the link inside to confirm your email address. If you don’t see it, check your spam folder just in case!

5. Add Payment Details
Now, we’ll need your payment details in case an item gets damaged or lost during your loan. Don’t worry, we won’t charge you anything now. It’s just a security thing.
Click on your name on the top right and then ‘Account’.
You should then see an option for ‘Payment method’, which you can use to add your bank card details.

6. Start Borrowing
That’s it! You’re all set to start borrowing from the Guildford Library of Things. Check out our catalogue, reserve what you need, and remember to bring valid photo ID when you collect your items for the first time. If it’s your first time visiting, read our guide on how to get here.
